Max Frost - or more formally Edward Maxwell Frost September 8th 1925 to March 15th 2005
Max was born in Windsor, England, and lived for the last 25 years in Shepperton, Middlesex, just a few miles away.
He traveled the workd throughout his life.
Max served in the British Army from the age of 18 until 55 - from World War 2 until just before the Falklands Conflict.
Services travel took him from the UK to the middle east - especially Jerusalem, Cyprus, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Germany.
Civilian life included working as a freelance Telecommunications consultant.
Max starting writing seriously after his retirement and he has been published in regional and national collections.
In 1997 Max achieved a finalists position in a national poetry competition with BBC Radio 4.
He was married to Anne for 50 years with two children, Andrew and Edward as well as a noisy Tonkinese cat - Bailey.
